FOOD PANTRY & MEAL INFORMATION FOR STUDENT FAMILIES
The Duplin County Schools Child Nutrition Department is continuing meal distribution at Chinquapin Elementary School. Meals can be picked up from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m Monday-Friday. Due to public health guidelines and CDC recommendations, we continue to ask that everyone practice social distancing by remaining in their vehicles at all times. Additionally, meal distribution will be available each day this week at various locations throughout the county. Our CES buses will be serving at the following locations: Bus 203 will be at the First Baptist Church at Deep Bottom from 11:00-11:50am and The Church at Pin Hook from 12:10pm to 1:15pm; Bus 324 will be at the intersection of Pasture Branch Rd and Hwy 50 from 11:00-11:45am; followed by a stop at Bethlehem Church from 12:10-1:15pm. These stops are for any Duplin County school-age student from PK-12th grade. We encourage all families to take advantage of our food distribution programs.
Sharron Baptist Church will be giving out fresh produce boxes every Wednesday from 1:00 pm until they are gone. Please utalize this resouece if your family is in need. Thank you to Sharron Baptist for continually supporting our community.
