Duplin County Schools conducts annual vision and hearing screenings to support student health and learning.
- Vision: 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades
- Hearing: 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades
These screenings help identify potential issues early so students can receive needed support. Participation is encouraged, but parents may opt out by notifying the school nurse within 30 days of the start of the school year.
