The mission of the Counseling Department at Chinquapin Elementary School is to ensure the social, emotional, and academic well- being of all students. Students have many diverse needs that require the collaboration of all stakeholders to ensure their overall success. The counseling department is committed to helping all children succeed! As 21st century learners, children are faced with diverse challenges that initiate problem solving and making good decisions. Learning to work together and accepting individual and group differences increase the importance of effective communication in a global society.
