Learning Leading Succeeding

Duke Science Night is a community event that we have participated in for the last three years. It is a highly anticipated event that brings together our staff, students, families, and community. Students and their families visit several stations throughout the school that are targeted to various science standards studied throughout
elementary and middle school. We are fortunate to have volunteers from James Sprunt Community
College, East Duplin High school, and our Beta club who help guide families around the school. We also have special guests from Four County Electric who have bucket truck simulations. This is a special event because it brings our community together, provides an opportunity to build relationships, and encourages learning through
science. We look forward to this event every year!
